Keyboard shortcuts

The keyboard shortcuts for Search, the Inbox and PDF previews in Tidyflow.

Tidyflow has keyboard shortcuts for Search, the Inbox and PDF previews. On a Mac, use Cmd. On Windows, use Ctrl.

Open Search from any page

Press Cmd+K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows to open Search from any page in Tidyflow. You can also click the magnifying glass at the top of the left sidebar.

Search finds clients, Jobs, contacts and users. Type the first few letters of a name, then choose a result to open it. Press the shortcut again, or Esc, to close Search.

When you search from inside a client, a client result opens on the same tab. See Switch between clients.

The Search shortcut does not work while your cursor is in an email or comment editor.

Inbox keyboard shortcuts

Inbox shortcuts work anywhere in the Inbox, including team mailboxes. They act on the conversation you have open, and they do not run while you are typing in a text box.

KeyAction
J or ↓Open the next conversation
K or ↑Open the previous conversation
EArchive the conversation
SSnooze the conversation until 9 am tomorrow
#Delete the conversation
DArchive a pinned conversation and clear its pin
Shift+J or Shift+↓Add the next conversation to your selection
Shift+K or Shift+↑Add the previous conversation to your selection
Cmd+A or Ctrl+ASelect all conversations showing in the list
EscClear your selection

Hover over Archive or Delete in an open conversation to see its key. In the Snooze menu, S appears next to Tomorrow morning.

In a shared mailbox, E and D follow the same rules as the Archive button. Archiving clears the conversation from your own Inbox while your teammates keep it, unless the conversation is assigned to you, in which case it also closes for the team. See How the shared team inbox works.

PDF preview keyboard shortcuts

When you preview a PDF in Tidyflow, you can zoom and close the preview from the keyboard.

KeyAction
+ or =Zoom in
-Zoom out
0Fit the page to the width of the preview
EscClose the preview
