Time Tracking

View time entries

On the left Menu, click on More and then Time. This will allow you to view all time entries and export to Excel.

Filters on the Time logs allow you to filter by:

  • Date range
  • Assignees
  • Clients

You can also view time entries on the Time tab when viewing the Client.

Move a time entry to another team member

A new time entry is always recorded against the person creating it, and there is no way to pick someone else while you are entering it. To log time on a colleague’s behalf, save the entry first, then reassign it.

  1. Go to More > Time.
  2. Find the entry and open it.
  3. Change the User field to the team member the time belongs to.
  4. Save.

The User field only appears when you edit an existing entry, which is why you record it first and move it afterwards.

Reassigning re-prices the entry at the new team member’s billable and cost rates, so the value can change if the two people bill differently. Check the amount afterwards if the entry is already headed for an invoice.

You need the manage time permission, or to be the workspace owner, to move an entry to someone else. Without it the entry saves with your other edits but stays with the original person.
