Set up tags

Tags label your jobs so you can categorize and filter them. Common tag sets reflect work type (Payroll, Bookkeeping, Tax), priority, or stage.

Create a tag

  1. Go to Settings and open Tags
  2. Click New tag
  3. Name the tag and pick a color

Tags are shared across your workspace, so the set you create here is what your whole team applies to jobs. On the Core plan the number of job tags is limited per workspace; the pricing page has the current limits.

Apply tags to jobs

Add tags to a job from the job panel, or when creating the job. You can then filter the Jobs list by tag to see all work of one type at a glance. See Customize and Filter the Jobs List.

Keep tag names consistent (for example, one “Payroll” tag rather than “payroll” and “Payroll jobs”) so filters stay reliable.
